We’re back – Simon and Evette have a new island home

Wow… has it really been a month since I last posted here?

I have the best of intentions of posting on this blog at least twice a week, but sometimes life gets the better of us.

Here’s what’s been going on in our lives the last few months:

  • Packing up all our (few) possessions and leaving Australia;
  • Finding a new home in the South Pacific, searching for a house, applying for residency;
  • Catching up on 2 years’ worth of Australian paperwork and tax returns;
  • Teaching 2 courses (Levels 1 and 2 in Melbourne);
  • Organizing dates and venues for our upcoming courses in Dubai and Spain;
  • Completely re-writing the Level 1 and 2 manuals (they are awesome);
  • Re-shooting videos and photos for our new RPT website (coming very soon);
  • Writing content for the new RPT website; and
  • a whole lot more that I haven’t mentioned.

So, after nearly 2 months of go-go-go and very little sleep, we have arrived in our new island home. We are in a tiny little shack with a thatched banana leaf roof and a distinct lack of insect-proofing. (We have a mosquito net over the bed!)

We’ve only been here a few days and already we have some pets. In addition to the 3 huge dogs on the property we have adopted Stumpy the gecko (left) who, as you can see, may need a few healings. He’s very smart and has helped kept our room mosquito free. We also have a few chickens and a rooster that spend their mornings in the banana leaf thatch of our roof looking for spiders and bugs. More photos to come later…

Why are we here you might ask?

Well in short, we are here for you (or for RPT)!

Basically, we are way behind schedule with our creative work, such as preparing updating you with new video demos, new website content, writing for the blog etc.  Living in Australia we just couldn’t get into the right creative space. We are island-folk, or spirit is here. So we have come “home” (spiritually speaking) to find our sources of inspiration.  This will be our home when we are not teaching courses in the USA, Europe and Australia.  We now have 30 amazing RPT teachers so hopefully we won’t be traveling all that much anymore.

Now that we are settled, expect to be hearing a lot more from me, including future course plans and details about the new methods we developed in July-August 2010. I have some fantastic demo videos I’ve recorded which I’ll shortly be posting to our gradate forum for all of our past RPT graduates.

Much more to come very soon!

Blessings

Simon

    hi Joe, thanks for visiting the blog.

    Your timing is excellent given that these excellent questions were answered in our last email to blog subscribers. If you haven’t joined the mailing list please do so.

    If you missed it, you can access the last email to subscribers here: http://community.icontact.com/p/thetamagic/newsletters/rpt2010/posts/level-3-in-spain-level-1-in-dubai-faster-techniques-and-more

    The short answer was: the teachers are currently being updated and their next courses will be the new methods. A new DVD will be out at the end of the year.
