Evette Rose writes:
It’s official. My first book is now complete.
This is no longer just a pipe dream. After years’ soul-searching and countless hours of labor, its finally done!
Finding Your Own Voice tells my own story of overcoming the trauma of child abuse. It is about how your life can be twisted and turned upside down by violence and abuse. More importantly it is about how you can heal yourself and have great relationships and a successful life.
Writing this book has been emotional, stressful at times and also adventurous! The angst of wondering what people will think always stayed at the back of my mind. Yet my goal to help and support others in more than one way kept the fire burning.
As our proof-readers can attest, simply reading this book is a profound healing journey. If you have suffered abuse, you will find hope and new perspectives from this tale. If a friend or loved one is struggling to shake the memories of their past, this book will help them to find their own voice.
This book will help people to understand the actions of abusive people and how to become aware that they themselves might be stuck in a never-ending abusive cycle. Here, I share my personal highs and lows in life as well as my story how I healed from it.
Finding Your Own Voice is now available here.
(If you were wondering what happened to ‘Stepping Stones,’ I changed the name because it didn’t fit.) My second book, Metaphysical Anatomy will be published later this year.
Much Love
Evette Rose
