Dear friends
We may have been quiet for the last 2 months but we have been busy. There is a lot to update you about, new techniques and also new resources for you.
Here’s a quick update from our IT department about these resources:
- our facebook page;
- our new discussion board;
- healing therapy database; and
- our expanding website and upcoming design changes.
We are on Facebook!
Yes, by popular insistence, we are on Facebook. Evette has created a Facebook page which you can join as a friend of RPT.
Lots (and I mean hundreds) of you have asked me to link to your facebook pages. I’m sorry, I really don’t “get” social networking. Luckily for us, Evette does, and she reports that we have about 70 members without even telling anyone about it.
So if you are on Facebook, link to us and you’ll be the first with the latest RPT news and updates.
Our discussion board
Those of you who have taken our RPT course would already know that we have a practitioner discussion board where graduates and practitioners can share thoughts and experiences and ask each other questions. We also have a lively teacher forum where Simon and Evette consult with the RPT teacher community in making any decisions about RPT such as teacher training certifications.
We are really excited to announce today the first PUBLIC FORUM for RPT. This is an open discussion board where any member of the public can join up and ask (or answer) questions about RPT or about healing in general. You can ask for help, enquire about a specific condition, or just get answers to your general questions.
All the RPT teachers are encouraged to actively answer questions. With teachers in 5 continents we really cover all the time zones and expect quick responses.
Evette and I are excited to add this new discussion board as it will create a greater sense of community. It is a valuable tool for support you through the healing journey.
How to register:
Join our new public forum www.RPTforum.com and click on the Register link. An automated email will be sent to you providing you with your own username and password. You can then start joining the fun! (If you have taken an RPT course or Teacher training make that clear when you register to access the other discussion boards.)
Healing Therapy Database
Many of my past students would be familiar with Val Moore’s Healer Wisdom database. It’s a fantastic resource for healing practitioners. Unfortunately it’s written as lists of beliefs, and as you now know, it’s not safe or healthy to treat a problem by changing beliefs. Beliefs are just a superficial symptom of the problem. Fortunately Val has joined RPT (as the Global Managing Director) and will be working with us to create a new healing database consistent with the latest techniques – working with tones or trauma.
Given the enormous size of this task (it took Val more than 3 years to create the lists of beliefs, and now she is the MD of RPT as well!), we are creating it as a public forum for all our graduates. Anyone who has taken an RPT course has access to the database (on the www.RPTforum.com site), and can read about different diseases and what has worked for us. You can also add your own experiences to share with others. Over time we expect this to expand into a new database along the lines of Healer Wisdom.
Our new website – coming soon
Val Moore and I have been busy re-working our main website, www.ReferencePointTherapy.com. Our past Theta Magic students would recognize that the look of the site hasn’t changed in many years.
Updating the website is a huge task as it requires a whole new logo and identity. We have been working on this for the last month with our brilliant designer, Dan from SoulNecta (who created our original site). We hope to have a new design up in the next 2 months.
Behind the scenes, Val Moore has done a phenomenal job in integrating a new e-commerce system. The website now lists courses for many of our RPT teachers all across the world. It’s fantastic that we have a centralised booking process. There’s a lot still to come. The most visible change is that courses are now split by country or region. With teachers and practitioners in 5 continents we are making the website more user friendly. Just click on your country or continent on the Courses pages to find a teacher near you.
Design is nice, but it’s content that matters most. With the launch of the new RPT 2010, a lot of the website content needs to be updated. For instance the video on our homepage of Linda’s shoulder being instantly healed is almost a year out of date. (Great healing, but very slow technique by today’s standards.) The new technique has no reference to “creator” or anything outside of you, and much less childhood “digging”.
We’ve decided to update this blog first, and then the website. You’ll get the most up to date videos and instructions here on this blog. We’ll be redoing the website over the coming months.
I am currently locked away in Borneo and not allowed to leave until I’ve rewritten the sites and manuals.
A big thanks to everyone for your support, I’ll be back again soon with lots of new exciting info for you.
blessings
Simon

that would be because we don’t have an RSS feed (yet). Our IT people have it on a long list of action items. We ask that you sign up to the mailing list for monthly (or so) updates.
We aim to update this website 1-2 times a week, so you can just check back in from time to time.
regards
Simon
