New Facebook integration – “Like” us!

You might notice a tiny change on the blog today. At the bottom of each article is a little Facebook logo and “Like” button.

We are experimenting with social media integration as a way of boosting the profile of the blog, building up to our huge new website launch next month.  If you like an article I wrote, please hit the Like button and leave a short comment. The comment helps your Facebook friends know if the article would be relevant to them or not, like “This is a good article for skeptics interested in spirituality” (or perhaps “this is a good article for spiritual people to learn more skepticism!”).

I know we have many hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of readers on this blog.  Most people don’t comment as they don’t know what to say or feel that they have anything much to add.  The Facebook Like gives everyone (with a Facebook account) a way to participate and engage with the blog.

To encourage and thank you for your support we will be offering a great prize worth $3,000 to people who Like or web-link to blog articles.  More in the next post.

Comments - Any suggestions on how we can spread the word about the re-launched blog? Any social media avenues you have found useful and reccomend?  Also do you use twitter and would tweeting about our blogs be useful?
